Hey all,
I just finished video 3 from draw everything, it was about shapes.
At first it was kind of boring, but jake said it was important so than you have to do it.
In a while it became very fun and actually very very helpfull. Going to keep drawing shapes from now on.Dont worry I am not going to post al my boxes and circles and weird combos
But I have something fun to share, after the video I drew this to cooldown. And this I made earlier today. Let me know what you think
Oh yeah, follow me at #jeffreysevinga
Thanks -
Good start Jeffrey. Don't worry all the exercises that seem boring will pay off in the end just keep at it. Really looking forward watching your progress as you go through the class;)

Hey evilrobot, thanks for the reply.
I finished the draw everything class now.
I thought maybe taking the perspective class. Do you have any good ideas on which classes to take first for me?I just picked up drawing again for 3 months now, my goal for coming half year is to really improve my technique so I will be able to draw more characters together in scenes. After that I want to make a comic to test out my newly learned skills.
After that I want to be at a place where I can offer my services as a working artist. This I made today.
Critiques are very welcome
I am also on instagram #jeffreysevinga if you want to follow my path closely. -
I like the concept. One thing you might keep in mind is you need to keep the whole image consistent. You have that front arm with all the anatomy close to correct, but then you have the cartoony hand, feet, and legs. So, I'd figure out which way to go, and do that for the whole image if you want anatomically correct figures you should carry that for the whole image. If you want to be cartoony (you should still learn anatomy because it will inform you how everything attaches and where.) but make the whole image cartoony. Try Jake Parker's course on drawing heroes and sidekicks it shows some anatomy stuff and seems to be the kind of stuff you are interested in. It is a better deal if you can afford to subscribe for the full year then you can just take all the classes.
