This is the first time I really feel like I have come up with something I might be able to turn into an illustration portfolio piece. Recently, while at a park taking pictures of my daughter, I was bit by a fire ant. Those little things hurt! Driving into the studio this morning my foot was still on fire and I started daydreaming about how ants learn where to bite. I am trying out the thumbnails and this is about my 4th one. I messed up and left my Wacom at home so I will play with it more when I get back later. Sorry for the crappy picture. It is from my cell phone. Hopefully it comes through ok.

That's certainly one way to use your experiences to create art. This has the makings of quite a funny piece. I'm eager to see how it develops.
