What classes at SVS would help with someone wanting to be a 2/3D animator? Any animation classes coming to SVS soon?

Really I think ANY of the classes would help you as an animator. There are 3d animators that don't draw well, but I've found the best ones seem to be grounded in the same fundamentals as 2d animators and artists.

        Specifically I'd recommend:

How To Draw Everything - being able to visualize things in 3d space is important
Drawing Comics - sequential art is almost a form of animation and certainly part of the process as you thumbnail and work our keyframes
Posing Characters - pose is EVERYTHING in animation
        Light and Shadow
        Working with Color
        Drawing Animals

I'd say those are the most directly tied, but all of the classes will benefit an animator, composition, character design. I was just speaking with an editor this week and he said "I'm convinced now that animators make the best children's book illustrators."

        Hope this helps!
