      I joined a few months ago, and I am just now starting to really apply myself to these projects/3rd Thursday stuff. I also joined the lamppost guild, with Corey Godbey, and I find it all very helpful, plus I joined SCBWI last year and I have been to three conferences.

      My goals are to:

      • Get my portfolio to where I am proud of it, with characters and backgrounds

      • Make one finished dummy, and send it out to publishers/agents

      My project will help me become a children’s book illustrator by adding a set of finished illustrations and a dummy to my portfolio.
