3rd Thursday - How do I join in?

HI all, I have just join the site after waching some of the 'SVS youtube videos'. I was wondering how do we go about joining in on the '3rd thrusday' challenge? Is there a little guide somewhere? Perhaps a sticky post or an FAQ? Thanks for your help.
