      I'm trying to do more nature-stuff, and tonight I tried to make calm, wavy water with Artrage. Not sure how well it reads, but it's a start 🙂

        @Camomilla Looks more like marble paint to me, but it's a nice texture and probably will read well in context too. Spot on calming effect.

          @Nazuba I think it needs some sparkles, or highlights, to read as water. I agree that it looks more like marble, I'll experiment more tonight 🙂

              Another water texture study. Trying to give it some more movement, and I used a referance for this. Not concerned with detail at this point, just trying to capture the essence of water 😛

                    @Chip-Valecek Thank you, I think so too. I'm doing one more today, and think I will continue these quick water studies for a little while - maybe water will be less intimidating to draw eventually 🙂
