      Hi Everyone!

Though I've been watching SVS classes for a while now, I've only recently started participating in the critiques/reviews/forums. In the next few months, I'd like to try produce finished work a little more regularly in order to improve my skills.

That said, I'd love to hear your thoughts on a few of my pieces. I know a few things that I would really like to work on but it would be great to hear your feedback.

Things I'm hoping to improve upon:
-More finished work (full-bleed, full-color images.. I tend to do a lot of spot illustrations)
-Evolution of style in character design
      -More creative compositions
      -More movement/less stiff-ness
      -More brightness!

      Thank you in advance!

Oh, I like the style, especially all the hatching! My favourites are the pieces with environment - such a great atmosphere 🙂 If I was to point at something to improve on, it would be more dynamic poses in your characters - they are very stylized (front or side view). But that's just my opinion 🙂

@Camomilla Thank you! Great note. I definitely feel that. I think I'm subconsciously afraid of perspective haha.

@mcucchi the first piece you have included (of the butler pouring the coffee/tea) - would love to know more about the story.

I see eyes/face in the fire for example. And I find myself constantly going back to study the sculptures/orbs on the back wall - very interesting shapes/design to those.

@Rich-Green Thank you! That piece was actually a gift for my boyfriend so it's riddled with inside jokes. For instance, he's mentioned that he's always kind of liked the idea of being a butler, so I drew him as one! In terms of narrative, I wanted to create a piece that looked as though it came from a story (even though it didn't). I am personally inspired by Victorian London and creepy/whimsical elements so I wanted to include those and focus on something very atmospheric.

Eventually, I'd love to write and illustrate my own story so some of these pieces are an attempt to settle on a time period/style that I can use as a springboard!
