@nicklewis750 Wow cool-I will check into that thanks!

@Kelly-Lane Just saw your post and thought I had written my post twice-Mirror response

@lmrush I spent $350 on a 2014 Samsung Note 12.2" tablet and I love it for sketching! It's like having a mini Cintiq. But it's bigger than the average tablet, so there's plenty of screen real estate for creating. I use Adobe Sketchbook Pro on mine, but there are a lot of different apps you can use. The stylus is pointed just like a regular pencil and it's very responsive, so there's no lag or drag.
-
I also recently purchased an Ipad pro, and I just sold my cintiq to a friend because I ended up never using it! The procreate app is simply amazing, and for final touch ups I use photoshop with the Astropad app that @nicklewis750 described. Work like a charm!!!
Plus, I was never able to calibrate my cintiq properly and the colors always seemed muddy when I then looked at my drawing on my computer. The Ipad pro doesn't have this issue, color is perfect! I know it is expensive, but it is worth every penny!!!

@amberwingart Thanks! how do you do your coloring ? if you don't mind me asking????
-
@NoWayMe Thanks so much!
-
@lmrush Do you mean on my tablet or in general? I'm a traditional artist, so I use pastel for my pieces. But when I'm on my tablet sketching, I color using the Autodesk app.
-
@amberwingart oh I see, sorry I was thinking digital color-thanks!

@lmrush look up Brad Colbie on YouTube. He just put out a video review today on one of the Samsung Tablets with a stylus. He comes from an illustrator's perspective.

@nicklewis750 excuse me, Brad Colbow. Not Colbie
