      This is very rough little watercolor and gouache on my cheap paper. I was just playing around with turning a photo my friend took of my daughter into an illustration. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions because I'm thinking I might want to redo this on nice paper. Is the blue too blue? And should I turn her 3/4 even though the pic I'm illustrating is straight on? Suggestions and comments are very appreciated0_1481571566919_image.jpeg

        I don't think the blue is too blue, just a little flat....but this is just a rough. I love the style. And I don't mind the front view--I think because she is looking to the side. It is very lovely.

          Thank you! I see what you're saying. @Joy-Heyer Something about her dress was bugging me and maybe that was it. I'll maybe give it a bit more definition and shape, some form shadow or something.
