Sharing After 2 Months Daily Practice - UPDATED 1/20

Hey everyone,

I've been MIA the last couple of months while I've been working hard to up my skills. I've been sketching every day (sketching is very hard for me) & pushing my anatomy work. I just wanted to check in & share my latest piece that I just finished for an online auction for the Audubon Society. My next goal is to work on backgrounds, which are a huge weak spot for me. Any critiques are always gratefully accepted .

Very much fun. What is the squirrel holding and blowing into? That is hard for me to read.

Thank you, @MirkaH! He's blowing into a seashell. I struggled to make that read clearly...

@amberwingart ok. If you revisit this, I'd change that. It makes me wonder where did a squirrel get a seashell, and with the colors right now it read more like an acorn horn, also I think these seashells are usually gigantic so it looks off seeing a tiny one in a squirrels hand, unless it's a human sized squirrel.
