Upcoming Surgery

Thanks all again so much! I had several rough days with severe radiating left shoulder pain that is associated with abdominal surgeries, it felt like I was hit in the shoulder with a sledgehammer. I had to sleep in my recliner because it was the only way I could get even remotely comfortable.

The pain finally dissipated and I am drawing for the first time again today, along with my first milkshake after a week of clear liquids only. So yeah for small victories! I have my music on and I'm feeling pretty good!

Wow, i'm glad you're feeling better and hope you can get back to your normal soon. I know soon i'll be in a similar situation in terms of having a kinda big surgery, but seeing your positive energy about it is really encouraging.

Thanks again all, feeling better overall. The shoulder pain returned but is manageable. I'm drawing again to keep myself distracted from it and the limited diet options, but I have to be careful not to over do it. These next several weeks are crucial to proper healing and surgery success rates but I don't do great with staying put so it's a balancing act.

The Mermay contest was a nice distraction!
