I followed along with dave trying to draw the same portrait as he did. This was my first sketch with Manga Studio 5, using the pencils. I was surprised how good the software is, it feels faster and more responsive than Photoshop, and it only cost £20, well worth the money, it has all the functions an artist needs. Different mediums, cavis types, guides ranging form perspective lines, rulers of any shape you need. I recommend you check this out.. The portrait took about 45 min.

@Steve-Young Manga Studio 5 does have faster and more fluid feeling brushes than Photoshop. I just haven't taken the time to really learn the program well. Another program that has great drawing tools is Mischief. It has an infinite canvas as well. Good for concept sketching.

@Rob-Smith I have that as well, if it had masks and gradients I would be using that! Its a great little program.
