But as always, cuts had to be made and this is how it went:

This piece had it all! Drama, excellent painting skills and compostion. Lighting and color is wonderful too. Definitely a pro level showing for sure.

2nd Place: @Renske-D (Renske De Kinkelder)
Beautiful Illustration. Quirky and well painted. Nice clean presentation. I can see this doing well right now for a promo to publishing houses.

3rd Place: @Sara-Glennon

Very sweet and dreamy image. Love the limited palette and design is fantastic.

@Marina (Marina Veselinovic) Poor tired donkey! It makes me tired just thinking about carrying that much stuff!

@sequoia-woodlawn (Megan MacLean) Very unique concept here. This one also was really close to being top three. It's just such an unexpected and simple solution to the topic.

@Pam-Boutilier Really great perspective and fun to look at. Love that fish in the helmet!

Congrats to the top three and runners up. Congrats also to everyone who entered. It is tough to choose these and you are keeping us on our toes. Can't wait to see what you come up with next month!

Congrats to all the winners! The level of skill in these contests is hard to compete with but it's also really great to see what kind of entries are catching seasoned pros eyes. I'm going to do @Lee-White portfolio review but I want to make sure I have enough pieces done so he has something to work with. So these contests are good to at least get an image to start with. I'd like to have 20 to start with and then get it down to 10 solid ones.

Wow! This is amazing! I really love seeing the variety of solutions. These creative prompts and most importantly for me, a deadline, is really motivational! It really helps to have that structure and encouragement...not to mention, I learned to paint digitally by watching SVS videos!
