@smceccarelli You're getting braver by the minute 🙂 You have been progressing so much this past year.

I’ve been exporting timelapses from Procreate and it’s gathering quite a bit of social media interest. Really easy since I’ve already done the work. I use lumafusion iPad app to speed up the time so that the time lapse plus a close up. Then drop on a soundtrack. Keep it all under two mins. So as well as specific tuts let you work speak for itself. Nit as awesome as what your suggesting, but perhaps time lapse to promote the other? Here’s what one of mine looks like. Vimeo btw is recommended for some reason. Also I upload natively to Facebook, so views there are substantially higher than the zero views on YouTube LOL.

I've never made a video, so you're ahead of me, no matter how it turns out! 😉

Maybe you could record the sound separately? You could also try adding text instead of audio. Just some ideas. Good luck!

@miriam @Andyg thank you for your thoughts! I have already done some videos using ProCreate recording function a little more than a year ago - and talked on top.
Here is the most successful one:

            Differences between ProCreate and Photoshop

I wanted to show my face, for a change, but I get way too nervous. I guess I will wait and practice until I have the same charme that Will and Jake have 😉
I do not use ProCreate that much at the moment - so I´ll have to capture my screen with the QT player....

@smceccarelli oh so that was you! Well done...it’s because of you I bought the iPad this last year! And that particular video for that matter.

A video where people can see you talking would be nice. Yes, Will & Jake's videos are great and they seem so relaxed. Keep practicing, and you'll get more comfortable with it! Imagine that you are just talking to a friend. Maybe that will help! I remember one job interview where I told myself I was just going to meet my new work friends, and it worked!

I'll check out the video you posted. I don't know anything about ProCreate, so it should be interesting. I've used Photoshop in the past, but I've been using GIMP lately.

Thanks for sharing your video. It was fun to watch & I really like how you zoomed in on the details of the monocle and chain at the end. I'm a beginner & would love commentary on how to achieve these kinds of effects, so I'm looking forward to watching the Learnuary tutorials. Oh, & you're up to 7 views on YouTube now--ha, ha!

@miriam haha! It’s prob cos I uploaded as unlisted as well. It’s really easy. Get a YouTube account. Record in Procreate. LumaFusion has all the settings in export.to zoom in you just literally do a key framing. Really easy.

Oh, I meant how to get the rendering effects in your painting--such as how to create a realistic looking chain. But that's good to know in case I get a chance to try out those programs. Thanks!

I'm excited to see whatever you come up with, @smceccarelli!

And thanks for letting us know how easy it is to make a process video with procreate @Andyg, I actually just got the app last week and I'm not super comfortable with it yet, but I've been wondering how process videos are made and I'm glad to know its relatively simple. I do most of my work in Adobe Illustrator though, so I'll have to figure out how to show that in a video someday.

@smceccarelli I am so glad to hear that you are feeling guilty Simona 🙂 i often check to see if you have put up another youtube video - i see it is too late to cast my vote - but i would most definitely have voted for color management too!

@miriam ah right. Draw chain an d paint on a separate layer yellow. Lock the alpha. Create a new dodge layer. Paint yellow again which will brighten it one side. Paint orange on the other side to light with secondary light source. Add white speculate highlights on a third layer.

So, at the last minute (at least for Lernuary) I manage to finish the first videos...actually two videos about color. The other topics will follow as soon as I have recovered from the effort needed to do these two...(picture exhausted artist here...)

                                  Part 1: color terms

Part 2: color palettes and color studies
