MARCH ILLUSTRATION CONTEST: OLD AND NEW

It's just one illustration but I feel like I leveled up this month working on this and from it came an idea for a picture book that I hope to expound on about this young frog discovering books and being transported into adventures with his dad. I plan on sinking myself into the illustrating and writing classes to make that project happen. I'm so thankful for the courses here at SVS and the kind people who took time to offer advice as I worked.

03/2018 OLD & NEW. I imagine a lot of people tomorrow morning will be rushing to get to church! This is my entry "Last minute alterations before church." -iPad with procreate.
I scratched an earlier idea with an old dog on a motorized stair lift. I'm glad I changed it LOL. Good Luck all, and Happy Easter-TA

Ink and watercolor on paper. When thinking about old and new, I immediately thought of age, but decided to express the theme on multiple levels. Thanks, SVS, for the fun prompt! -
