I've been trying to expand the range of character types I'm able to draw (my basic formula for drawing human character heads) and I found this useful website that breaks down three or four different styles of building characters from the Disney style to the way Bruce Timm draws characters. (A lot of it is very similar to what will Terry and Jake Parker teach in their classes (using the bean shape and such) I've been finding useful. Once on the website scroll towards the bottom of the page find the links to drawing different parts of the body.
