Biographies of artists?

A while back I asked for suggestions for reading that was illustration themed and ended up getting “The Art of Pixar,” “The Illusion of Life,” (about Disney), “Ink and Paint: The Women of Disney’s Animation,” and “Words and Pictures,” about Quentin Blake. These were all great books and thanks for those who recommended them. The latest episode of Three Point Perspective (“A Day in the Life of an Illustrator” made me think it would be interesting to read more biographies of artists - not just illustrators but any artists, though illustrators and watercolorists would be my preference. Any that you can recommend?

I think everybody should read "My Adventures as an Illustrator" by Norman Rockwell

@davidhohn I wanted to thank you for your recommendation. I just finished Norman Rockwell's autobiography and it was excellent. Not only was it fascinating to read about the days of illustration before photography became popular, but I loved it when Rockwell shared his own struggles and emotional cycles with his art. Great book!

Starting Point, 1979-1996 by Hayao Mayazaki is more of a collection of ramblings organized in chronological order, I'm in the middle of it and I find it really interesting.
