So... I'm a newbie right out of the gate and have been experimenting with digital painting for almost a month. So I'm very green as you can imagine

Very cute picture! Your animals are adorable! You just have to keep practicing, it takes a while to get used to stuff and I learn something new almost daily. You are in the right place to learn. Everyone is so helpful!

Haha it is scary the first time, but you'll be good now. Alongside the great tuition the videos here at SVS, other online places and books provide. I think the best way to learn other than to just do it is to share and get critiques. Everyone here always throws out ideas I'd never think of doing. It's a great place! Welcome aboard!
