Hey Artist! Happy New Year!

I'm an artist just like you. We share the same passions, dreams, and drive to create something that will put a positive smile on the world's face. In saying that, it would be my pleasure to invite everyone on this forum to take part in a social media art challenge that a few artists and myself are launching on the 1st of April 2019. Like Inktober and Mermay, (which I’m a huge fan of) I am taking a plunge into creating my own art challenge based on creatives' drawing something inspired by using every letter of the alphabet; which would cover 26 days in April. Now, that brings me to the name of the art challenge- Aprilbet.

Aprilbet- An excuse for an artist to create.
-The artist can use any form of medium from pencil, to ink, digital art or traditional painting. It is an Instagram exclusive, simply joining the fun with posting art with the hashtags #aprilbet2019 #aprilbetartchallenge
It's nearing the end of development nothing has been announced, until now! With the support of the art community we can create something beautiful and inspiring for many, to encourage learning and education across the board.

This sounds cool, I'll definitely try and join in I love how there are more months being added to these illustration themes, apart from Aprilbet, Mermay, Inktober, Dinovember and illoadvent (December) are there any other ones that people know about?

I was thinking about doing the alphabet for Inktober next year. I’ll know where my life is by the end of March if I can do it. I would love to take the chance to build an alphabet monogram card collection!

I think I will work on small size alphabet letters in reverse with landscape imagery. So A will be a white silhouette and surrounding it will be a landscape/setting depicting a word starting with A. First A I came up with was Ancient. I haven't decided on doing it in colour or not. I still want to make this monthly SVS challenge for that month.
