March Prompt "Book Cover"
-
I cheated on this one, I know! But only because I set 2 other challenges for my submissions (other than the month's topic). One being trying my hand at watercolor to get away from my comfort zone because I almost always work digitally, and the other one, turning this year's topics into a series of illustrations depicting 2 little brothers doing stuff together. I thought it was fun to share nevertheless

@miro_illo Style is cute even if no one has read your book. Most of these books I have never read but have watched their movie versions. Though I'd say next time try to keep to the contest requirements -it's more fair for everyone.
-
@andersoncarman I REALLY like the bone/skeleton frame. Sooo creepy in a subtle way. The tail bone is my favorite.

Hi everybody,
I just wanted to drop a sincere "thank you" to everybody. Also, @mag is killing it with her piece -
This was such a great challenge. So many amazing entries so far! Here is mine.
-
The Little Red Hen, one of my favorite childhood books!
-
I didn't have much time this month due to school and life but I thought I would submit this entry anyway. Hope you like it. Done with Mixed media and touched up in Photoshop. Gold leaf does not translate well to photos.
-
Here is my Lord of the Flies version, I am thinking this should be a graphic novel. I don't think anyone has done that before, I could be wrong.
-
@Chip-Valecek Oh man, this is cool! I love that it has some Stank on it! Love your use of spatter, too. Really well done!
