I don't know if it's a trash job or a potentially decent one
but it's a huge gap in wages. -
@kaitlinmakes Yeah it sounds like they're saying the usual "you'll be paid with exposure" blah blah, but it includes royalties i guess, so might be good experience for someone who doesn't mind doing a freebie!

@kaitlinmakes I think that might be the platform's fault, maybe they have options to choose from like
- 0 to 50k
- 50k to 75k
- 75k to 100k
- 100k to 150k
Etc... And then you choose the closest one that fits you and get slapped with that on your ad? Seems like it might be the case. After all this is a commission based job with royalties, which isn't typically measured with a yearly salary...

I found that HGChildrens one a few days ago and tried to do some research. The post makes it sound like the work is coming from a company that produced a series of books. Really it's one author named Hina Gupta. I found one book on Amazon about a dog named Coco. Also the compensation being royalties? No thanks.

@Lydia-M I looked it up thanks to your description. Found one book worth 46$ and another for 3$ so one is way too expensive the other is the extreme opposite. lols

@Heather-Boyd Wow, $46 really? Didn't notice that part. I was just disappointed to find that the job post was misleading. I was so excited a publisher in Geneva, IL (close to me) was hiring.
