Can‘t upload profile pics. Any ideas why?!

Hi there,
For some reasons I can not upload any pictures for my profile, neither with safari nor Mozilla. It always says the file would be too large, but that is not true. I have tried all sorts of files and ways to upload pictures, I have no idea what is wrong.Did anyone had similar issues?

@SabineB Hi Sabine, I did mine in Chrome, and my format was either .jpg or .png. Did you try resizing it so it was a really small file (500 or 800 px wide)?

@animatosoor I resized them and saved them as png or jpg, but I will try Chrome!
