Subscribed and cannot access classes
-
Seems to be working now.
@MichaelaH @Braden-Hallett The Marco Bucci Critique video is working now!
-
No still not all classes work for me
Example: https://courses.svslearn.com/courses/how-to-ink doesn't work, it says I have to subscribe... -
@MichaelaH Hmmm. That direct link didn't work for me either. But if you go to the "Student Dashboard" on the main menu and load the class from there it does work.
-
Yeah you are right, it works though "dashboard", but not thorugh "all classes"
-
@MichaelaH I managed toI access the classes from students dashboard menu. But from All classes menu I can't.
-
@MichaelaH Hi there! Are you still running into issues? If so, can you take a screen shot and send it to me? We did just update the website, so there might be a few little glitches here and there :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_cold_sweat:
-
@LisaF Yeah, we can access/watch all classes through "Dashboard", but if we go through "All classes" we don't have access...it says we have to subscribe.
Other thing: Also the Filter doesn't work, if I chose "In progress", it still shows all classes.
And it would be nice to have filter "unwatched classes" (don't know how to call it) -
Just to clarify, when you are logged into your student account, the way to access the classes that you are enrolled in is through the Student Dashboard link at the top of the page. The All Courses link takes you to a separate page that lists all the classes that we offer. You won't be able to access the classes you personally are enrolled in from there. Hope that makes sense!
-
The problem is, if I go to "My dashboard" and click "View more courses" it springs to "All classes" and I cannot watch...so maybe it is misleading. And only under "All classes" there are hashtags. So we have to go to all classes, filter the hashtag, find the class we want, than go to dashboard and find the class there. You know what I mean. And the "Vier more courses" has no meaning for us under "Dashboard" if it goes to "All classes", where we have no access.
.
-
Also "Student dashboard" is the same link link as "My dashboard", both hyperlinks come to the same page.
-
@MichaelaH Ok that makes sense, the All Courses link just takes you to a separate page listing all the classes that we offer, but you can't get to the classes that you are enrolled in from there. You can only access your classes from your Student Dashboard. But I hear you, it does seem like you should be able to access them from both spots!
As for the Filter, yes it unfortunately does not distinguish between a class that hasn't been started and one that has, that is a feature we have requested and hope that the developers will fix in the future. How it's supposed to work now is that the classes that you have viewed most recently are supposed to "float" to the top, and classes that have not been accessed recently move down.
-
@MichaelaH I see what you are saying, the "View more courses" link is confusing! I think it was just meant to give a quick way to navigate to see what all our class offerings are, but I can see how it might imply that there are other classes you have access to. I'll see if that's something that can be removed
I'm not sure if the hashtag categories can be added to the Student Dashboard page, but I'll ask. And I'll ask if the Student Dashboard and My Dashboard links can be merged. Thanks for the feedback!!

@Elinore-Eaton Was support@svslearn.com able to help you?
-
@LisaF Thank You Lisa
-
@MichaelaH we changed the settings on those course landing pages. You should be able to resume the course from the course page now.
-
@LisaF I went out of town for a few days, and am back now, and things seem to be working properly now. Thank you!
-
@Elinore-Eaton Ok great! Keep us posted if anything else comes up!
