Photoshop Elements 11 vs. Creative Cloud

Just learning Photoshop and now suspecting that my Elements 11 will prove inadequate to Creative Cloud. Working hard with literary agent to enter the market. Any thoughts?

Photoshop Elements will leave you wanting for the features you really need in order to create work.

Definitely leagues apart. I used elements 12 when I was a teacher and while you can get some painterly effects with it, it's not nearly as good for adjusting and adding that extra "umf" as PS CC is. You can get CC on a subscription basis now that's really not too much per month, so I think it's definitely worth the investment.
