Hi everyone.

I’m Sandra from Germany. I have been around here for quite some time actually, but more in the role of the silent reader and never really introduced myself.

I only got back into drawing about two years ago after graduating in Cultural Studies and History. Before and during my time in university I have had some designer jobs for social organisations, real estate agents and the like. I even tried to apply at art schools to become a kidlit illustrator, but then something happened that stoped me from picking up a pencil for years. So I had to went a different road and only did some design jobs every now and then.
But I always missed something in my life - art. It was like starting a new life when I did my first paining after such a long time. Since I haven’t been drawing for years I’m nothing but a beginner, I guess. Looking for advice got me to Will’s Youtube account which lead me here eventually. I hope that I can connect with some fellow artists I can learn from

Yeah, now my introduction become longer than intended. Sorry for that.

(Oh, and while I’m at it: my day job is very busy (school teacher), so I fear I sometimes might be slow at replying. it’s nothing personal, just me being busy at work)

@Kuarahy my students are between 12 and 16 years old. But times have changed since I have been in school haha
