Hello SVS from Bulacan, Philippines

Hello everyone, I am Jad Bautista from Bulacan, a province in the Philippines. I have been a subscriber since 2017 but I just recently re-joined and knew about this forum. I am usually just lurking around but now I am trying to be more active and participate in the community.

I am a graduate of Information Technology and software development is my line of work. But that has not stopped me from doing what I love which is drawing. My day job has really provided well for my family (wife and three kids) so I am very thankful for it that it is also able to fund my passion.

I am always finding time to make art ever since I was a kid, and right now what I do is I wake up early in the morning around 4AM to draw before I go to the office. The Philippines is notorious for the horrible traffic and my daily commute sums up to a total of 6hours a day. I am utilizing this chunk of time by watching SVSLearn videos so I am studying while traveling.

Right now I am working on a personal project, an action/fantasy web comics that I am planning to release 1 page a week. I have been writing it since 2016 and I just recently started layout and thumbnails last month. I am documenting it as best as I can on a blog that I also just recently set up. I want to build a buffer before I start uploading pages so hopefully it will be up around October.

I am also certain that by re-joining this forum I can improve my craft and share/gain valuable insights from fellow artists as well. Cheers!

@Nyrryl-Cadiz yes because I work in Manila and go home in Bulacan. So many infrastructure projects on my way to work hence the travel time. On the brighter side, I get to watch lots of tutorials on my commute.
