@Braden-Hallett I second the second one :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_smiling_eyes: all the lines add more interest and feels more dynamic. Awesome work!! I enjoy seeing your process
-
I like the second one better
-
And here I was hoping for an easy piece this month
I think I'll be drawing a lot of cables, conduits and science knick-knackery
Thanks guys
Maybe I'll do the first one as well just for funzies!
-
I like the look of the second one more as a composition but I appreciate the cuteness/humor of the first one more and would be inclined to pick that one.
-
Yeah, the second one is much more interesting. Might be fun to add some bolts of electricity. Plus, I like how you used "knick-knackery" in a sentence :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_smiling_eyes:
-
@Braden-Hallett I like the first option. I could see a ton of blood and gore in that
-
@Kat knick-knackery is the best term ever
I'm gonna do both. The first one just in ink shouldn't take me too long!
As you can see, Penny has her goggles and labcoat. Also the freshly redug grave, shovel and machete is also a bit clearer
-
Ha ha! Fun concepts but I really like the frankenpoodle version myself. Nice to see people going darker for October.
-
So... many... cables...

:
frankenpoodle
This is now canon
-
The mad scientist girl and her frankendog look so happy that I just want to run with them. Be freeeeee!
-
@Braden-Hallett both are looking good... can't wait to see the full inks. I like the value structure in the wire one thumbnail better. But I am not sure if you have built the value structure out as much for the other one.
-
@TwiggyT I don't know how I know how to run on two legs but it's so much fuuuuuuun!
-
@theprairiefox Thanks! The value structure on the one with the crazy cabling is definitely better thought out. I'm not as worried about the first one since it's super simple. Characters on a simple background. I was more concerned with silhouette with that one
-
@Braden-Hallett Oh no! I named my dog Fluffy, too. Great minds I guess.
-
I'm actually quite a fan of your first concept and seeing the clean sketch I feel like it tells a clearer story.
-
@Braden-Hallett they're both looking great!! But I have to ask on the first one, is that the top of Billy's head in the grave next to the bloody machete?? If so that is hilariously dark!

Maybe just a LITTLE blood and gore
-
@chrisaakins Fluffy is just the perfect name
-
@DarleneAnico I think I'm gonna explore both options since I don't have to colour them
