NOVEMBER CONTEST: SLOWVEMBER
-
Here's what I've been working on this month - it's a spread from a story about a guy who has always wanted to be a strongman in the circus but when he tries to join it doesn't quite work out as he planned.
It is watercolour with some heavy digital modifications.

My last minute submission to Slowvember. I ended up not doing all of the four generations, but only one for now. I could have made a Throwvember of it, but that wasn't the goal, right? I'll post the others (1920, 1923,2019) as soon as I finish them.
Lots of great submissions here! Good luck to everyone!
-
final piece for slowvember. I'm seeing a lot of great entries, here.
-
Newer artist and first time contributing to a challenge.
-
Here's my piece for for Slowvember! Took it slow and felt like I found a new style for myself with this challenge
-
Is there a time zone that we are supposed to adhere to for the midnight submission time?
-
This is my first post here. I loved the Slowvember concept, but got a late start, so had no time to get feedback. I love the variety of entries, both in subject and style. My post was inspired by childhood memories of trying to escape practicing the piano. I saw somewhere that entries had to be under 500 kb, so that's what I did. Is there a post somewhere about the rules?
-
@carlianne I think they're pretty forgiving I wanna say that they go by mountain time, but as long as you're close I'll bet they're not picky
-

I ended up going a different direction than I originally planned, but Iβm really happy with this one.
-
I am a painter attempting to make the transition to illustration, and I know I have a long way to go to do this more effectively. But since I was asked in early November to respond to Isaiah 11, 1-10 for an Advent program in December, I chose to illustrate it somewhat narratively, using the Slowvember process and having this challenge as my goal!
-

@Aleksey yesterday I was thinking the same thing... until my wife informed me I better get a move on!
