Should I add more shadows? Should I make changes to the style to make it more consistent? Should I change any of the facial features?

I think the style looks consistent, the daughter looks like she's falling asleep, I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. Right now the boy looks like he is looking at the book, it might be nice if all three of them were?

The boy is looking very cute but I think I'd try removing the cheek and under eye lines from the girl's face. I think they make her look a bit old and don't match with the mum's smooth face.

@carlianne The girl is looking down at the book, but I wondered the same thing. I'll play more with her eyes. Thanks!

Hi, looking good here. Sweet scene. If I could suggest something it would be to use minimal lines one the children's faces and also think about making the children's eyes larger. Nice work.

@deborah-Haagenson sweet scene ☺️ The children's faces look much softer now. Couple things, right now it looks like mom is looking at the viewer not the book...also I can't tell if the lamp is on a table or the floor...I assume a table, so maybe adding a front to the table would make it more readable as a table?

Not sure how much more time or rendering you are planning on doing before the end of the month but I think you could take this piece even further because you have such a nice base of color, line, and layout. For example if you have time, going in and adding more light and shadow would really make things pop. Trying out different textures/patterns on the clothes, wall, and blanket could be fun to mess around with. A lovely moment captured overall.

@KaraDaniel Great suggestions! How fun! I will play around with those things. I was going to add a side to the table originally, but never thought about a front - ha!

I like the addition of lighting! My only thought is it might be nice for the kids to have a little smile? Even if it's just a small one. I think it'll make it feel more like a tender moment ❤
