Light & Shadow for Illustrators - Classwork

Another batch of classwork done! This time it's for @Lee-White's super fun "Light & Shadow for Illustrators" class. Any comments, hints, tips, and friendly banter are very much appreciated.

@Casual-T Very nice! Solid work all the way around.

Some notes: The shadows on the ground in front of the house need to be worked out. In mine, I pictured some trees off to the lower right casting those shadows on the ground. So the shadow of the trunk runs across the image and off the frame to the lower right. You may want to extend your shadows in the same way. Right now they are a little "sharp" at the end of your shape and almost look like waves.

Other than that, a solid project! Now it's time to test out the process on some of your own images. : )

@Lee-White Much appreciate the encouraging comment. I hear what you're saying about those shadows in front of the house. They've been bugging me for a while now, and I was never quite sure why. You solved the riddle for me! I re-did the lawn with softer shadows coming from the bottom right. Looks much better, me thinks!
