apple pencil + paperlike = squeaking?

Hi there community,
I recently got a Paperlike screen protector and have been using it with an apple pencil since yesterday. The texture is really nice! I wondered though, does anyone else experience it squeaking? (Like the sound a marker makes on a whiteboard) Will it go away after some time? Is there anything I can do to keep it from making that sound?
I know I'm living a luxurious life when I spend time thinking about the sound my drawing tool makes... man...

Yeah it should go away as both the pencil tip and the surface both get a little wear. There are still areas on mine that do that on the edges.

The Paperlike screen does tend to wear out the Apple Pencil tips more quickly than just the glass, so the good news is that the squeaking and scratching sound will be back sooner than you'd hoped!
