BongoAndClyde_SJessopSVS.jpg I definitely had fun with this one! It's interesting to see how everyone interprets the story. I played in Procreate, until I was satisfied and then used that as a map for watercolor, my comfort zone. I'm still learning to work back and forth between the two.

My first time entering the monthly contest. There are sooo many good entries so far! I made this in Procreate and then tweaked some of the colors in Photoshop.

@Lindsey-Anderson this looks a lot like mine but I'm still only at rough stage 😬. I have the exact same expression for Bongo and Clyde! I guess it was bound to happen with us all doing the same story

@carrieannebrown What a coincidence! Yes, I'm sure it was bound to happen. I'm excited to see how yours turns out! You have beautiful work.

@Lindsey-Anderson thank you! Yours is gorgeous, I love the colours of the leaves especially. Just didn't want you to think I'd ripped you off

Hi all. Been following all the amazing work for a couple of months and couldn’t resist entering the contest with all the ideas this prompt generates! Loving all the different interpretations of this tale (tail?). This is my first ever submission, I'm a bit in awe of all the wonderful work! Still trying to get to grips with watercolour. I was partially inspired by the “Jaws” poster for this one. 🙂

@Dima-Eichhorn I love this concept! I took a beat to get it, and then once I saw what you were going for, I couldn't stop looking at it. So many things to see! Really well done.

@JoshuaDages Thank you. I am so relieved that I managed to make my idea understandable. I wasn't really sure that I did is, so thank you for your comment. And my choice to draw it in BW makes it harder, I think.

@carrieannebrown Oh Carrie, I'm so sorry! I know what you mean, though. I had to change a previous design because someone posted my first idea earlier. I'm looking forward to seeing yours!

Thanks very much for the really fun prompt! I drew this in Procreate.
I chose to illustrate the bit I found most suspenseful.

@lucy_gow So clever that Bongo thinks Clyde's eye is an orange. Great.

@Jane-Smith-0 😆 Actually I did not think of that. But it does look like an orange.
