Cute, but this has so much more potential. I'd love to see a little more connection between her and the snail, and a bit more life in it. Perhaps try giving the snail the same characteristics you would see in a dog going for a walk? Excited, stupidly happy and moving all over.

Hope you don't mind, I did a quick little draw over to show you what I mean.

I love this piece, only thing I would do is make the worms head a little smaller.

@Leontine-Gaasenbeek I really like your costume design on the character. I understand why you gave her shoes in the redo, since they're going out for a walk, but I really liked her socks in the initial post. I hope you can use them in another drawing! Love the little touch of the acorn as the dog/slug's ball. Can't wait to see where you take this.

@Maile-McCarthy Thank you, As soon as I return from vacation, next week, ill start working on it again. I want to work on a background as well. not sure what to choose, a nice gnomehouse, treehouse, or a more simple background.

@Leontine-Gaasenbeek I look forward to seeing what you come up with for the background. I keep thinking of the woods where I practice archery. We see tons of slugs there, and I could so easily imagine these characters popping out for a walk among the leaves.

Hope you have a pleasant vacation 🙂

Much beter, the only odd thing I can see, is the gnome lady feet look squashed. Great work!
