I kept waffling back and forth on whether to enter this month, but the most recent podcast really helped push me to enter regardless of whether I thought I would win or not. I'm always amazed and inspired by everyone's work here, and if not for SVS, this piece would not have existed in the world!

This is my interpretation of The Wizard of Oz if it happened in ancient Korea. I've included Dorothy (front and center wearing a common Hanbok), the Tiger (instead of the Lion since tigers are more prevalent in Korean stories), going counterclockwise, the Tinman dressed in a complete suit of armor, the scarecrow in peasant clothing, the Witch who's dressed in a traditional regal Hanbok wearing a shaman mask, and Toto who's a Jindo, a common breed in Korea. The yellow brick road is leading up to Emerald City which is fashioned in the style of a Korean palace. The title is in Korean on the top left.

Good luck to everyone who's entered, and kudos to you for constantly putting in the work. I see you! ❤
