That is such a great achievement! It's so exciting they are going to promote both your illustrations and stories. It is well deserved though, I'm new to SVS so didn't know much of your artwork but I just went to your Instagram account and your images are just gorgeous, you're so talented. Maybe you could keep in touch on the forum to let us know what the next phase of your experience is like? It would be so interesting to hear about your next achievements and how it feels working with an agent. Well done and well deserved!

They reached out to me and were both interested in my illustrations as my illustrated stories. So they represent me as an illustrator as well as an author/illustrator. Although I shy away from calling myself that until I’ve published a book that I’ve written haha. They have seen my finished dummy and my story ideas and had interest to work with them

I think so too! Illustrating my own books was my ultimate goal. I do like that I get to gain experience in illustrating books for authors as well.
I have a feeling that more agents are looking for that combo right now.

@silvialcg Thank you! The Painting Secrets course is one of the live classes, I followed it last year. It was given before I believe and I did hear that it will some day be available online, but I'm not sure if that is still the case and when this will happen. It is a great course, I would love to see the classes again
