This one was a rather quickie project, because it's a very short book of just 3 spreads, 1 single page, a cover and 3 pages of hoops. But I had a good 2-3 months to do it which was really roomy! I was able to spread out the work in such a way that I barely felt it. Most weeks I'd be working like 4 days on other projects, and half a day on this one. -

I've been working on a lot of stuff, but since I'm now involved in projects with longer development time and with the pandemic, it's been almost a year since I actually had a book come out. Seeing a printed book for the first time, holding it, flipping through it, it really reminds you why we do this! It really feels wonderful and dang it I hope they hurry up the printing of my next one hahaha -

@NessIllustration Oh thank you yeah I forgot to update it - I need to do my website as well. I tried one more time to see if Facebook would give access back and maybe I could merge the old one to it but all I get is an automated message saying "Account disabled. This is irreversible."

I'm an evangelist now when it comes to making sure people unlink those 2 accounts. If they were made separately apparently it isn't an issue (even if they are linked, they still stay separate). But if you made your IG account FROM Facebook directly they're basically the same account. The thing that sucks about it is there is literally no support. No one to call, or email, or message, or anything. The only thing you can find is community posts of people unable to get help. It's horribly depressing lol. -

@Nyrryl-Cadiz The short version is that some group got into my FB account. It's still a bit unclear how because I had it set up to text my phone. I had a business manager on that account that had access to several accounts I work with to help people manage social media posts and campaigns, and they transferred ownership of that manager to their own organization and put up a ton of ads that were these super bizarre political propaganda in Russian and Vietnamese. They then set my account up with a third party authenticator app so without the app on my side I couldn't get back in. I reported the account as hacked, submitted my info to Facebook, and then 4 days later the account was disabled with a link to appeal the decision, but if I tried to submit an appeal it said the decision was irreversible and I wouldn't allow me to submit the form. That's pretty much where it stands. With no support to talk to there's no one to even contact about it. The byproduct of that was I had created my Instagram account directly from Facebook, so it disabled both simultaneously.
