My life did also change sudenly many years ago. I have had to suspend the university, accept a job as industrial designer and leave behind my dreams as illustrator.

Of course, it wasn´t as simple as that. Many bad things happened. Anyway, I did learn a lot.

Last year I did decide to restart some old dreams, to draw professionally included. At the university I was considered a talented illustrator, so my first new drawings, decades later, makes me fill disappointed and glumed.

Nonetheless, I did decide to wear my warrior costume and fight. So, here I am. being in good and inspirational company, as you can see. 😉

I work in traditional for 99% of my stuff. I am getting up the courage to try digital, but so far my primary medium is ink.

Practising consistently is a problem I had too, until last year. Before I started to work at an office, I could skip days without drawing a single line and be okay with it. As I started to work 40h/week drawing, I can't think of a single day without drawing.

It's just a matter of developing the right habit and mindset and in no time it will come as naturally as workout for some people. 🙂

And I'm pretty sure that with the people around here always eager to help and discuss, you'll be motivated to keep moving on!
