Still working on some solid ideas. I find Christmas related illustrations so tough. There is a lot of regurgitation of concepts and imagery in general.

@seanwelty You may just need to clear your cache/history and close out the browser. Then restart it. Sometimes things can get cached which would cause the sites to act strange depending on the different sort of JavaScript calls and fetching data. I am a web designer/developer at my full time but an artist at heart.

@Aaron FYI. I can view all the videos except the two live critique sessions. Those are still not working for me. Also, the video line-up for each class is out of order so you have to select each individually. The "view all" button will play them, but they are out of proper info sequence.

Definitely leagues apart. I used elements 12 when I was a teacher and while you can get some painterly effects with it, it's not nearly as good for adjusting and adding that extra "umf" as PS CC is. You can get CC on a subscription basis now that's really not too much per month, so I think it's definitely worth the investment.

Great question - and yes they do usually go quickly. We plan to have more live events as we grow - right now we're attending to some really important building challenges but when they are ironed out we'll be able to have a more predictable schedule...

They normally post a link on the SVS Facebook page, that's how I found it last month....

@Kevin-Longueil I assumed they said "all images", because there is more than one person submitting. But I totally agree that I should submit it ahead of the deadline.

@Jake-Parker I really got a lot out of the course thanks. It's given me some great tips and exercises that have helped me improve heaps. I've been doing the inktober challenge and posting a drawing every day on my FB page so thanks for giving me the inspiration and the tools to carry it out 🙂
