SEPTEMBER CONTEST: Ink Fairy
-
@kimmypie this is so great ...I actually laughed out loud. Nice work
-
Hi Everyone! Here is my entry.
I remembered how I played with ink and brushes as a kid while drawing this. Hope you like it! -
Nice work fellow ink fairies. I switched between Procreate and Fresco on this, mostly using brushes from a set called Rusty Nib Inkers but some ink washes and a couple of render type brushes too.
I am an svslearn member, @mamadraw or Laura Beattie irl.

@Mary-Toth I really love what you've done! Wonderful

@Rachel-Horne thank you!

@K-Flagg Aww. I'm glad it created some kind of reaction. Thanks!

Here's my entry for this month pen and ink wash

can you tell me where I can find the recording for last month contest? I was not able to watch it when it was live.

@Gaelle-Grizzly I love how ticked off your fairy is.

@ajillustrates Thanks a lot. It's always fun to draw those types of expressions.

Hi, all. Still not sure if "inking" or "black and white" means any shades of gray so I stayed away from that. Here's my attempt at the challenge.

@Gaelle-Grizzly I really like this one, my 8 year old niece had similar idea for me, but I'm not participating this round. You have put in a lot of emotion and character design into this one.

I'm happy to have found a forum with lots of activity, critiques, and prompts! I got my first digital drawing tablet a few months ago, and having these prompts is super fun and helpful for finding my style. Here's my take on "Ink Fairy".

This was a challenge but fun. I usually add color to my illustrations but I enjoyed doing the grayscale
-
Here is my first contest entry. Whew!
(Had to update because I missed part of a shadow )
