Will Terry's 10 Step Digital Painting class just rocked my socks off this week, and I'm working on employing what I learned in a new piece for my portfolio.
I'm hoping to post my progress here as I go.

Right now I'm looking for feedback on Step Zero, nailing down a good line drawing. Showing it to you here, before it's refined or cleaned up. The story of this illustration is that the fox, on the left, is trying to encourage the raccoon to follow him off the path into the dense leaves, but she's skeptical/hesitant about it.

Do you think the story is readable in what I've drawn here? What might make it better? I welcome your thoughts!
