Fairy-tale traveler design ideas...please help me choose!
-
Okay so at some point I have to stop because I can design fantasy characters forever. I can’t decide which one to go forward with. I have a few favorites but I’m curious to see what you guys think.
I would love some help choosing what will best represent a young traveler living in a valley. I willing to bet we will be doing story illustrations next with the character we choose so it needs to be interesting enough to want to see a story about them.

@K-Flagg FUN! I really like B, because what's not to like? M stands out as unique and could be really fun to see going forward. J is giving me Jack Frost meets Easter Bunny vibes for some reason, which is awesome
-
OMG so many to choose from! I really love M so unique and adorable! I also really like c and p...
-
I like P and M, I love the variety!
-
C, F, or P for me
-
the only right answer is D
just imagine the scenes you can create with a creature which can stick on everything, even upside down. -
@K-Flagg So much cool ideas, but I like R !!!!

Hi K.Flagg, I am impressed with the diversity of characters! For me, Mr.P Kitty Cat, has to be the winner on the spot. He has personality and attitude...his face speaks to me and I have the feeling he is trying to start a conversation about his rolled up map and his idea of the location of a treasure....am I wrong?
-
I like R very much!
-
I like the G.
But I think u should go with the one that speaks to you! -
I like R a lot, fun silhouette
-
My problem right now is too many choices
I think I like G and R the most.
-
So many cool ideas!! I was immediately drawn to G. Love the design!! I think the look of R is really awesome, and for me it's between those two, but for me G captures the prompt more. "Young, naive, but resilient and stouthearted!" The proportions of G are more youthful, and the hood makes her seem more naive maybe? And the staff and fluffy fur edges seem to make her resilient and stouthearted! Ready for anything, determined.

I'm impressed by the variety and work put in already! My vote is for C or G. Those were the ones I was immediately drawn to.
-
@K-Flagg I really like C and M!
-
@Molambo I think you just blew my mind lol
-
These are so great! G is my favorite also love c and f
-
I love R! Her hair is wild and definitely stands out as interesting!
-
@K-Flagg wow, they would all work but I think I like the cats, C and P

C,D & P feel original and inspired to me. I think maybe I just like P because it's a fat cat and that's charming but still, great shapes. P has Totoro energy for me.
C&D feel original and new to me, like I haven't seen them before. The rest kinda feels like I've seen it or it's been done before. They don't have the same WOW factor.
I think you should go with the one that seems the most fun or inspiring to you. What sparks joy for you out of these characters?
