@LauraA yes, you're right, it's at 2pm mountain time
I corrected his post!
-
@LisaF I donβt see an email, who do I contact for that?
-
I'm going to miss it, I badly need some sleep. I really hope you record this, I love your art and insight, Lee. If not, I hope to catch the next one whenever that happens.
-
Bonus content: I'm going to give some advice on how to do better in this months contest too!
-
@carlianne Emailed you

@Julia-Hegetusch Sent you an email

Was the session recorded? I was there but only in spirit lol my son had a school zoom meeting at the same time so I didnβt catch a lot of it because his education is more important than mine Of course

@Lee-White there was an unanswered question about what printer and paper you use for your archival print? Any chance you could share with us
-
That was a really useful session last night! I am starting my morning with the intention of focusing on design and not descending too quickly into details, since I think in line, more like David. In my case, however, and unlike David, I know it is slowing me down and hurting my design sense. The "polishing turds" comment was memorable and on point!
This morning I read about all the tornadoes in the southern US, so I'm glad you were safe, @Lee-White!
I have one question: I kept hearing David read questions and comments aloud that I never saw, ranging from where people were from to technical questions. Towards the end I saw two of the question appear in the question box, and a couple more in the chat, but there must have been about 20 or more such questions. At one point I thought they must be coming from FB, but this session wasn't on FB. Was I having a technical glitch? I realize this is mostly a distraction on my part and not essential to the experience, but it was a bit disorienting I confess I spent too much time trying to figure it out.
I started this morning with Lee's YouTube video "Get Sh*t Done" and now I'm off to do just that, hopefully!
-
Dang it! I missed it! Just couldn't keep my eyes open last night. I love seeing Lee's and David's sessions! When can we expect the recording up?
-
@LauraA I was seeing the ones david was asking about. some people may have sent their questions in the chat to "panelist only" which can sometimes be a default unless you change it for everyone to see it.
-
@Lee-White Ah, that probably explains it!
-
btw, for those that were in attendance, here is what I mentioned being on my dining room table vs. what I drew. ![IMG_5528.jpeg] Illustration is easy, just draw what is on your table! lol! Too bad I didn't notice this until after I was done with the illustration!
-
@LauraA @Lee-White Oh no! Did I miss questionsβ½ (This is my nightmare!)
Yes, I was tracking the chat. Even taking screen shots of questions that I wanted to make sure we answered but though it more appropriate to hold off until the end.
About half way through I saw the Q&A section, but on my end there was never more than 6 questions in there and a number were repeated in the chat (you guys caught on that I wasn't tracking the Q&A section earlier than I did!)If I'm (ever) asked back again to moderate I'll be sure to specify the best way to interact so that no one gets left out!
-
@Lee-White The resemblance is UNCANNY!
Right down to a bunch of "dead" plants and the blue-green Alvin cutting mat /floor rug!Weird what can stick in your brain.
-
Ah missed it
is it recorded can we watch it back?
-
@davidhohn I'm really glad I'm not the only one that has an Alvin mat on my kitchen table lol
-
@K-Flagg yea, we try to take it off of the dining room table, but it just ends up there again a few hours later. Ahhh, the life of an illustrator!
-
@Lee-White Now I'm just picturing a green cutting mat inching it's way around your house. Toy story style!
