Running put of old FW waterproof ink - need replacement
-
In the 80's I purchased a large glass bottle of FW brand waterproof ink. This is the original formula that was ammonia based. Unfortunately i am nearly put of ink and have not found a suitable replacement.
I am looking for a real black(not dark grey) waterproof ink for a dipping pen (various nibs - I also bought those in bulk and have about 2 years worth left - then I am in trouble again!)

I use Platinum's Carbon Black ink--waterproof. I use it with a brush, not nibs.
May be hard to compete with Ink as old as me though

They have 8 ink comparisons at the bottom of the post.
Hard to truly judge by a random photo, looks like the cards are bowed, and picking up some light.

Personally I have always loved Yasutomo Black Sumi Ink. It's very black and I've used it with both brush and nib and it's wonderful!

@Tiffany-Thomas oh and apparently I've been using it as long as @AnthonyWheeler has been alive, lol.
