So I posted about this a loooong time ago asking for idea help (HELP! (Please 😫), but fast forward and I have finished my project! It has evolved quite a bit and I thought I'd share it with you all.
My project has now become 15 concept pieces for a short film I wrote. All of my pieces were done using procreate on the iPad Pro, and I did all 15 in 6 1/2 months. I focused a lot on lighting, backgrounds, and storytelling.

For this project I wrote a short film about my character Kenneth. He is an artist who did traditional art, but fails and now he has to rediscover what he loves. He writes the story of Prometheus, who he drew in his childhood. Eventually he pitches the idea to his publisher and his book is published.

The 2nd half of my project are the designs and scenes from Kenneth’s telling of Prometheus.

In Kenneth’s version, Prometheus stole fire from Hephaestus and formed humankind on a potters wheel. He gave them fire which gave them life and they worshipped him. Slowly people forgot about him and his fire began to die. One child came and found him with his fire gone, but his body still warm. It took its fire and gave it to Prometheus. With Prometheus alive and the child now dying he took his own fire and gave the child a new heart.

      Feedback is welcome!

@Jules For the short film you wrote, what is the ending for Kenneth?

@carolinebautista his book is published and he rediscovers the art that he loves. There is a picture of him reading his book to his son 😊

I love the way you detailed the story inside the story. I went back and forth between the completed Prometheus pages and the art on Kenneth's wall 🙂 I also like the colors and light. Good luck with the film!
