JUNE CONTEST: Meet Albert!
-
@Randi-Gordon Haha! Yes!! I've started putting the brushes I use into a separate folder, and using as few as possible. Love your Albert goat!
-
@K-Flagg Love your colours and textures. He's very cute.
-
@ruth thanks!!
๏ธ Iโll have to try the folder system, if I can remember before I get too caught up in what Iโm doing.

Love me any excuse to paint in watercolors. Hey hey hey it's Albert (the Possum)!
-
This is Albert the Long-eared Jerboa. If you havenโt chosen an animal to draw yet, I suggest you choose one with more normal legs! Yikes, the anatomy was hard to figure out.
-
@Mary-Toth This is beautiful work! He's so adorable - I love your drawing style!
-
@Mary-Toth Low the design and colors
-
@Mary-Toth Gorgeous! He's very cute and your colours are lovely.

I grew up in Rhodesia after emigrating from England in the '60s, with my family. I based my furry fella on the Bush Baby we used to see in the bush all around our boarding school. We used to cal them Pookies, they were fun and mischievous

Such a fun challenge! I'm loving everyone's fuzzy buddies. I was having a hard time making my Albert mischievous AND kind so that's a bit of a fail but I'm still happy with him
-
Lots of fabulous Alberts this month! Hereโs Albert the coatimundi.
I had a lot of fun researching this challenge - so many amazing and bizarre animals out there! Iโd never actually heard of a coati before so have been enjoying this new discovery. (Even if his nose did prove a bit tricky at times!) -
Calling it done!
So cool seeing all the Alberts this month! Great work everyone!
-
Seems lots of people are making red pandas. This is my take
-
I love all these Alberts! I had such a long list of potential animals, but went with skunk! Subtly made him be from Canada (hence the toque).
