What's some of your all time favorite pictures that tell a story?
I want to start collecting some images for inspiration. Since telling a story in one image is so cool, yet often underused because people draw 'a character standing there being cool' so often.
I remember my favorite of all time was from an SVS Monthly critique. I can't find it again but there were pirates looking in a bottle where a tiny pixie was trapped. It was painted realistically, and the pirates were grotesque, and it made you feel so afraid for the pixie.
