JANUARY CONTEST: Tiger
-
I didn't know if I would be able to finish anything beyond thumbnails or rough sketches this month, but I made it! There are so many great entries about tigers. I especially love the unique takes on the theme of tiger that I would have never thought of. Great job everyone!
For this illustration I played off of a alcoholics anonymous meeting and changed it to carnivores anonymous. The lion is a bit hungry. -
Not sure which midnight we're aiming for, but I did this one up for fun and thought I'd share:
-
I was able to do a second illustration because the first one was in a simple style. I still need to fix the tiger shape in the plants, but I have run out of time and it will have to do for now.
-
@melissa_bailey I love the silhouettes and the expression on the tiger's face! Nice illustration.
-
@kim-rosenlof thanks so much! Love your carnivores! οΈ
-
Wow so many great illustrations this month! Great job everyone!
-
@melissa_bailey This is so well made and fun as a concept! I had the "Tiger who came to tea" beside me this days and it is one of our favourites, I read it to my daughter a houndred times when she was little
-
@koaila-art yay! You made it and the illustration is amazing οΈ
-
@oana I think the sketchy feel is lovely! Great job!
-
Hii!
First time joining the monthly theme
I was inspired by our trip to Udaipur (India) and got a bit carried away lol. -
@lizardillo So well drawn and so cute! Love those paws and ears!
-
@mag Thank you Mag!
-
@mag actually you were the one who motivated me haha! The story how one comment can change everything
-
@melissa_bailey thank you so much
-
@holleywilliamson Looks great!!!
-
@cayleen thank you!
-
I went in a very different direction with this one. Wanted to lean heavily on the conceptual part of this prompt. I know cute always seems to win but Iβd really like to challenge that and at least make it into the ranking with something thatβs not cute.
-
@koaila-art Well then - I'm glad, honoured even, I did! One reason why I love this monthly challenge so much is because I get to see all of the different approaches and stories. It's so inspiring!
-
Hi there :). I couldn't resist to try this one ! I'm not sure that I correctly posted my artwork on critique arena, but I'm glad to show it to you here :).
-
@oana thanks so much! It's such a fun book and it was fun to put a little twist on it!
