Riley... Finally Finished
-
Well here is Riley... Amidst home remodeling projects, sickness (nothing serious, just annoying) and keeping up with a little that decided she no longer likes naps... he took a while to finish
Thank you @AngelinaKizz for feedback on the perspective. I had to go make a model out of blocks, cereal boxes and tin foil to finally get the lines to look a little better! Sometimes I feel like a little kid posting my work amongst people with so much talent... but I guess that means I'm where I need to be to learn how to get there! Thanks!!

Ooops, here is the real one with the box o suds powder...

Hey, you're doing it, you sound like you're having fun, and that's what's important!
Art is a lifetime pursuit and we'll all be chasing perfection until the end no matter when we began the chase. Also, I like that you used model making to create some sort of reference for yourself. There is a great artist named David Peterson, creator of the Mouse Guard graphic novels, who does this quite a bit. He creates elaborate set pieces out of materials to use as reference when drawing his medieval buildings and things for his books. Here is a link to one of his blog posts where he did that.

If you haven’t taken it yet, the perspective class is a great one! -
