My April treehouse(s) wip(s) lol

This was my first but wasn't sure it was following directions “no background” what do you guys think?

@Asyas_illos I think you were right to nix this one for it not sticking to the prompt. They said they want it like a spot illustration so it probably should run all the way up to the edges and the only thing we should see in the background is a blank page

@Asyas_illos in general I like this piece but unfortunately it isn’t really a tree house. I think for it go be a tree house it needs to be a house that is built into a tree and that doesn’t feel like what we are seeing here.

I think the first one is super cute but it does need the tree aspect. I also think for it to be the coolest tree house, that there’d need to be no way for the kids to get up there, while the mom enjoys her coffee. Pull up the ladder, with no slide?
The second one, I love the idea of the draping leaves concealing the treehouse, but I think you’d need to zoom further out, to hit the spot illustration requirement.
I think you could easily convert both, to better suit the prompt.

@AngelinaKizz yes already on it! I’m not giving up on these ideas so easily, for the sketch I’m going to have it suspended between four small trees instead. And yah for the colored one, when I’ve finished it up I will zoom it out and round off the the top. The size restrictions stink tho in my opinion, I’ll probably lose a bit of detail when I do so.

Fixed this one but I didn’t want the branches of the tree obstructing the view of the tree house so decided to chop that one…

@Asyas_illos I actually like this idea the best. I think a living space suspended in a giant plant is the bare minimum of a treehouse definition.

Personally I like how the tallest sunflower goes off the page I wanted to show their gigantism but do you think I should bring it down to fit?
