      I'm practicing my colors by using curated color palettes. It has been teaching me different ways to use colors. Through this process, I've found that my issue is choosing good colors for lighting and shading. Aside from improving that, my next goal will be to create my own appealing color palettes.

            @Patricia-Dishmon I like that first image a lot! The thing that's standing out to me in the second is less about color and more about seeing the use of that soft brush for the highlights... being able to see when the digital soft brush has been used is a thing to avoid.

            That's just my opinion anyway. I did this a lot when I started making digital art, and I think with time you get more comfortable ignoring that brush's temptation haha

            Great work on exploring a limited color palette though!

              @Kristen-Lango Yeah that's something I'm noticing too. I didn't think that the softness of the soft brush was so striking!
